The shared idea
Geometry Dash is a precision platformer first and a rhythm game second. What makes it compulsive is that a death is always your fault and a retry is instant. Several games on this site share that contract.
OvO
The closest in feel. A stick figure with a jump, a slide and a wall-jump, levels that take thirty seconds, and a restart that costs nothing. No music sync, but the same demand for exact inputs.
Level Devil
A platformer built around traps that break the rules you just learned. It is Geometry Dash's 'memorise the level' loop turned into a joke — the first run of each level is an ambush and the second is a puzzle.
G-Switch and Perfect Shape
G-Switch is a gravity-flip runner: one button, auto-running, instant death, exactly the Geometry Dash formula with the jump replaced by a flip. Perfect Shape is slower and about fitting through gaps, but the single-input purity is the same.
Bloxorz
A puzzle rather than a reflex game, but if you like Geometry Dash for the planning — knowing what comes next and executing it — Bloxorz is the calmest version of that pleasure.
